Mane 6 Ice Cream

FLUTTERSHY: I really like Fluttershy's expression, it is really nice in my opinion! The eyes look very wide and confused, and her jaw drop is just so tiny and adorable! You keep this surprised and confused look on her face, whiles still making in somehow.. quiet and shy! It's just perfect Fluttershy and matches her very well! The shading on fluttershy is extremely well done within itself... but it dons't seem to make sense with the rest of the picture. The ice cream itself is supposedly glowing, but on Fluttershy herself the light is coming from the opposite side from the cone, which I find a bit confusing. I like the way you drew her tail, although it isn't as long as in the show it still looks quite nice, I love the smooth shape of it! APPLEJACK: I really like Applejack as well! She is completely show accurate and I really love the perspective of her cutie mark, it's obvious you spent time on it! Her expression is nice as well, and definitely a expression I can see her wearing often. For the most part her hooves and legs are positioned well, and I especially like the positioning of the hind legs... but that one foreleg that is resting upon the ice cream bothers me a bit. For one it should be longer, and also: It should be curving up more. I do absolutely adore the shading here though... on Fluttershy the shading was well done... but this shading on AJ is FANTASTIC! It fits great with the rest of the picture, and is really realistic. It adds a TON of depth to the drawing and is overall really amazing!

RARITY: I've got to say...I love the humor in Rarity just licking the ice cream, and Fluttershy's confused reaction... but overall I'm not so sure about how Rarity is drawn here. I don't know... but the way that position she's in looks is just very visually unappealing to me. The more I look at it the more I see it IS anatomically correct... but it still looks weird to me. But that is just how I perceive it, and overall it's not all that important in the long run. I like the shading here as well: it's not quite as amazing as on AJ but it is still really great, especially the shadow of the tail as it projects on her fur. Speaking of the tail-it's very well drawn and show accurate! Though I am not so sure about Rarity's mane... the back part of it looks much to long, and the front part is really oversized, which makes her look of-balance. Though , in my opinion, the highlights on the mane are very nice.

TWILIGHT: I love Twilight's expression, it's very cute. And having her hide behind the ice cream cone was a nice touch. I like the shading of Twilight as well. It might have the light part of the shading seemingly behind the lightsource... but she's hiding behind it so it makes sense. PINKIE: Pinkie is just too cute here! Her jumping motion is pretty well done, though I think it could be improved if the hind leg on the side facing away from us was facing in the direction of the other leg. Unless that dons't make sense... I'm not good at wording things! The shading on Pinkie is really nice, and there are no flaws within it as far as I can see! I think her ear is a bit weirdly shaped... but that's just nitpicking so it's passable.

RAINBOW: Rainbow looks pretty nice. I like her expression! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=" (Big Grin)"/> Her wings should be a bit smaller, as well as lower placed to be anatomically correct, though. The shading in great, especially on the tail, I like that a lot! Her ear should be a bit bigger, and should connect lower on her head. Her cutie mark should also be bigger and placed lower down. REFLECTION/BACKGROUND: The colours of the background fit perfectly for the picture, and add a lot of feel too it! The reflection on the ground is a very nice touch as well, and something very few people would take the time too do! It is done pretty much perfectly, although I did notice AJ's hoof is not touching the cone, which is a bit confusing. Okay.. now for my absolute FAVORITE part: the shadows! Look at them, the are amazing! From AJ's shadow to Pinkie's, they are all perfectly placed and detailed in the most realistic and in depth way possible... It's just too amazing to explain... but you did a FANTASTIC job! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="17" height="23" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="599" title=""/>

ICE CREAM CONE: The cone is very nicely done, I love your attention to detail and all the different toppings! Yum, I just want to take that out of the screen and eat it! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="93" title="XD"/> The shading is well done by the way, I like how that makes it look even more real and 3D! Making the ice cream the light source was a nice touch as well, in my opinion! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=" (Smile)"/>
